Compressor Retrofits Lead to Substantial Plant Improvements and Growth
Ethylene producers can boost their overall plant output by upgrading their centrifugal compressors equipped with aluminum seals, as many OEM seals have large clearances that limit compressor efficiency and performance.
As a key upgrade to these types of equipment, Gulf Coast Bearing and Seal (GCBS) offers an advanced seal redesign made of thermoplastic materials with tighter clearances and optimized tooth profiles. This design reduces leakage, improves aerodynamic efficiency, and enhances compressor performance.
