Robert Aronen – Managing Director, Boulden International

Robert Aronen began upgrading pumps with composite materials as a Rotating Equipment Engineer at a refinery in California in 1998. After leaving the refinery, he helped develop the North American market for DuPont™ Vespel® CR-6100 from 2001 – 2007. In 2007, he co-founded Boulden International and opened the Boulden office in Luxembourg. He has 30 years of experience with pump systems with a focus on reliability and efficiency improvements. He has authored several technical papers and is the co-inventor of the patented PERF-Seal® technology.

Brian Boulden – President

Brian Boulden is a 3rd generation business owner, having joined M.A. Boulden in 1982 in sales and business development. Brian progressed through a variety of increasingly responsible roles in sales, engineering, and operations, focusing more broadly on improving the reliability of reciprocating and rotating equipment in Refining & Petrochemical facilities. Brian has extensive experience with compressors and pump systems, and in 2000 launched a Pump Wear Components segment promoting DuPont™ Vespel® CR-6100 composite material on a global basis.

Brian has developed proprietary materials known as B-Series composites for rotating equipment, co-invented the patented PERF-Seal® technology that enhances the performance of pump systems, and co-founded BG Industrial Services, LLC in 2021.

Jay A. Burnette – Chief Executive Officer

Jay Burnette is the Chief Executive Officer with responsibility for developing long-term business strategy and delivering strategic outcomes. Prior to joining Boulden, Jay was the President & Chief Executive Officer of Allied Reliability, Inc., a manufacturing, distribution, and industrial service business focused on asset reliability solutions for energy and industrial end markets.

Prior to Allied Reliability, Jay was President of Waukesha Bearings, a $200 million designer and manufacturer of engineered bearings and seals for energy and industrial end markets. With over 800 employees around the world, Waukesha Bearings is an operating company of Dover Corporation (NYSE: DOV). Prior to Waukesha, Jay was the Director of Sales & Marketing at Fairbanks Morse Engine in Beloit, Wisconsin, a maker of large diesel and natural gas engines for power generation and marine end markets. Jay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Clark Maloney – Vice President / President, Gulf Coast Bearing & Seal

Clark Maloney joined the Boulden team through the acquisition of Gulf Coast Bearing and Seal. Over his 30+ year career, Clark has progressed through a wide range of roles in sales, engineering, and management of companies serving the Oil & Gas industries with a specialization in Babbitted bearings and labyrinth seals for turbo machinery.  Clark was co-owner of Turbo Components & Engineering (“TCE”) based in Houston prior to the business being acquired by John Crane.  Following the acquisition of TCE, Clark worked with John Crane in business development.

In 2018, Clark helped launch Gulf Coast Bearing & Seal where he served as the company President and helped build the company from start-up to profitability and ultimately the acquisition by Boulden at the end of 2021.
