BOULDEN B-835 COMPOSITE MATERIAL
Boulden B-835 is a proprietary blend of carbon-filled PEEK (polyether ether ketone). The unique manufacturing process from Boulden results in a material with a coefficient of thermal expansion very close to the same as carbon steel. B-835 can be used in temperatures from -40 F to 275 F (-40 C to 135 C) primarily in clean services for the following components:
- Pump wear rings
- Pump throttle bushings
- Pump center-stage bushings
- Pump throat bushings
- Vertical pump shaft bearings
